Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter in Leavesden is about fifteen minutes’ drive from Opuz Kitchen & Bar on King Street, Watford. Whether you are filling the gap before a timed entry slot or you want a proper dinner once the tour is over, we grill everything over real charcoal, seven days a week.
Getting here from the Studio Tour
The studios sit just outside Watford in Leavesden, and we are in the centre of town on King Street – roughly fifteen minutes by car. That makes us an easy stop in either direction, and it means you can round the day off with a proper meal instead of heading straight back to London.
Travelling by train? The official shuttle bus to the Studio Tour runs from Watford Junction, which is a short ride from our door, so you can eat with us and pick the shuttle up without needing a car at all. Trains from London Euston take around twenty minutes.
Lunch before your tour
Tours run to timed entry slots and take most people three to four hours, so it is worth eating properly beforehand. Our lunch menu runs Monday to Friday from 12pm to 4pm and starts at just £11.90 – chicken and lamb shish, pasta, risotto, fresh fish, and plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices.
Tell us your entry time when you book and we will make sure you are fed, watered and away in good time.
Dinner after your tour
Evening slots finish late and the cafes inside the attraction close with the tour, so most visitors come out hungry. Our kitchen and bar run well into the evening, with charcoal-grilled mixed grills, mezze to share, Turkish wine, cold beer and a full cocktail list.
It is a considerably better end to the day than a service station on the way home.
Groups, families and coach parties
We regularly look after large tables, which helps if you are travelling as a family group, a school trip, a birthday party or a coach tour. Get in touch ahead of your visit and we will reserve the space and, where it helps, agree a set menu in advance so service runs quickly around your entry time.
Finding us and where to park
You will find us at 7 King Street, Watford WD18 0BW, a few minutes from Watford High Street and the Harlequin Watford shopping centre (formerly Atria). There are three multi-storey car parks within a short walk:
- Church (CitiPark), Exchange Road, WD18 0PL – the closest at about a four minute walk. Open 24 hours, 601 spaces, around £1 per hour for the first five hours. Height limit 1.98m.
- Queens (Harlequin Watford), Beechen Grove, WD17 2UB – about five minutes, 678 spaces, open 7am–9pm and 9am–6pm on Sundays. Height limit 1.93m.
- Charter (Harlequin Watford), Beechen Grove, WD17 2RT – about six minutes and open 24 hours, so the easiest choice after a late evening tour slot. Height limit 1.93m.
The Harlequin car parks charge around £2.90 for up to three hours, with a £1 evening rate for cars entering after 5pm – so parking for dinner costs very little. Cards accepted, though not American Express. Charges can change, so do check before you travel.
